Yummm, 70's polyester.
Also scored an awesome new evening bag. Two years ago I wouldn't have even considered a bag with a chain strap- too dated. But when I saw it I knew it was mine. Shows the influence that the blog world has had on me, I guess.
Both of these were scored at Vintage Vogue in Kansas City, which I was shown a few months ago by the lovely Jenna.

That dress is darling. I especially love the skirt and how it incorporates the two patterns.
ReplyDeleteThat purse is also very classy. Chain purses have definitely made a comeback!
I need to get to that store asap. I think I went there a couple years ago but only had a short amount of time to browse. I definitely need to spend an entire afternoon there. :)
Cute finds! I love the zip front on the dress.
ReplyDeleteAnd I was exactly the same when I bought a quilted chain strap bag at the thrift store, i was like:
"Oh I love this bag!"
wait, I hate quilted bags, what am I thinking?
"No, I need this bag!!"
and then I bought it. Blogging changes you!
Chic on the Cheap

ReplyDeleteOkay, the bag and dress are fab. However, I can't take my eyes off the sunburst! Such an amazing piece! I assume it's thrifted? I bow down to the thrift store queen.
